**CUSTOMER NOTICE – CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS 2023 DESPATCH/CLOSURE**
Please note that Period Projects will close for business at 3pm on Thursday 21st December 2023 for the Christmas period.
We will open ‘business as usual’ on Tuesday 2nd January 2023 @ 9am. During this period emails will NOT be monitored and Sliver orders will NOT be processed in the Xmas break/holidays.
The last day for sliver order processing will be Thursday 21st December 2023 @ 11am. Any slivers ordered after this point will be processed as quickly as possible on our return on 2nd January 2024.

Our team has a real passion for architectural design and quality workmanship, whether we strip and restore period doors and furniture, or create new pieces for your home. Our products are high quality and well made. Using reclaimed wood is at the forefront of our designs and this produces the unique look of many of our products.
We stock literally thousands of reclaimed doors that you are welcome to view on our website or in the showroom. Door Furniture such as Knobs, Knockers and Hooks which are in keeping with your period purchase are always in stock. Also ask us about reclaimed flooring, original reclaimed fireplaces and fireplace surrounds. The reclamation side of the business means that from time to time you’ll find antique and vintage treasures on our site too.

Did you know that the UK is one of the world’s largest consumers of timber products but only 15% is actually produced here? And yet, there is plenty of reclaimed wood available in the UK, for instance by pulling up existing floors and reusing them, reclaiming whole beams from old warehouses, or even recycling fire damaged doors. With a bit of initiative and imagination, it is possible to salvage what we have, and create old from new.
At Period Projects, we feel strongly that by restoring period fixtures and furnishings, using reclaimed and recycled wood to create new and interaesting pieces, we are doing our bit to preserve the natural forests that are currently under threat and helping the planet.
