About Period Projects – A TRULY BRITISH COMPANY
Did you know that the UK is one of the world’s largest consumers of timber products but only 15% is actually produced here? And yet, there is plenty of reclaimed wood available in the UK, for instance by pulling up existing floors and reusing them, reclaiming whole beams from old warehouses, or even recycling fire damaged doors. With a bit of initiative and imagination, it is possible to salvage what we have, and create old from new.
At Period Projects, we feel strongly that by restoring period fixtures and furnishings, using reclaimed and recycled wood to create new and interesting pieces, we are doing our bit to preserve the natural forests that are currently under threat and helping the planet.
We’ve been trading for over 30 years. From our base in the heart of Hampshire, we currently have three workshops and a showroom and can travel countrywide. With a commitment to old fashioned service values, we pride ourselves on providing the highest level of customer attention and detail.
