The External Louis Stained Glass Door can be made any size up to a of 32” wide x 80”high.
It is can be made in thicknesses of 40mm – 45mm. Stock Number: MTMLSGD This door is made from reclaimed pine. Plugging Marks will be visible. This door comes with a light sand only finish and traditionally made stained glass panels. We can Sand and Wax (internal side of door only £144.00) or Sand and Prime (filled and light dust coat only) ready for painting are both available for an additional fee (£144.00). Glass colours maybe changed (to any colour that we stock regularly) for no additional cost.
If you would like specific glass and colours – this will be an additional charge (trade costs only). We can adapt the design/work with you to make a bespoke design – but this will be a completely different cost.
MADE-TO-MEASURE We will make this door to any size you require up to size listed for the price shown. If you need bigger it is an extra £72.00 per every 2″ on the width or the height (not both). Letterboxes can be fitted (loosely) – but you must supply this in advance. There is a charge of £66.00 for this service. We can also make this door from hardwood (Sapele). Please contact us for a costing (normally anything from £360.00). Delivery and wrapping are both additional costs – please contact us for details.
Please NOTE: Our External Doors are made using Mortice and Tenoned joints. Our Internal Doors are made with Stub Tenon and doweled *Unless otherwise requested* If you would like M&T joints – this needs to be specified upon order (this is an additional cost). Our doors are hand crafted and designed to be a faithful re-production of a 100 year old door. Within the handcrafting process wood with splits, shakes, filler, black grain, glue marks, nail holes and plugging’s will all be included and will be visible in the reclaimed timber used. Our doors have an absolutely authentic aged appearance. If you do not want this type of hand crafted appearance then it may be better to choose a different type of door.
